Bio

Felipe Mac Allister

I am Felipe Mac' Allister, a passionate filmmaker with a clear focus on directing and cinematography. My creative journey in film began with a deep desire to tell stories visually, which has led me to work on a diverse range of projects, both as a director and cinematographer. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.

My short film Dreamatum gained international recognition when it became a finalist at the SmartFilms International Film Festival in 2019, showcasing my ability to craft compelling narratives and visually striking content. Since then, I have been dedicated to honing my craft, gaining hands-on experience by directing and shooting my own projects, as well as collaborating on others in various crew roles, such as gaffer and 1st AC.

I believe that every frame tells a story, and I strive to create visually immersive and emotionally resonant films. Whether working on high-budget productions like AVA or smaller, intimate films like my upcoming short Cambio de Estación, I bring a unique vision and technical expertise to each project.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, with extensive experience using industry-standard tools like Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer, I am well-equipped to bring any story to life on screen. As I continue to grow as a filmmaker, my goal is to push the boundaries of visual storytelling and create films that leave a lasting impact.
